BB2 Bombesin Receptor Cell Line

Description BB2 Bombesin Receptor Cell Line contains U2OS cells stably expressing BB2 Receptor with no tag. HiTSeeker Cell lines proliferate in vitro maintaining GPCR expression following the cell culture manual. The BB2 Bombesin Receptor Cell Line allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate BB2 receptor. When a ligand binds to the BB2 receptor, it activates a G protein, which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by calcium. HiTSeeker BB2 Receptor cell line has been validated measuring calcium concentration changes in the cytosol upon activation with GRP. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring BB2 receptor activation process in High Throughput Screening.
